Three HEMI V-8 Engines, One Mission

The Rumble Bee range begins with a familiar 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 producing 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Designed as the entry point into the muscle truck world, it delivers a blend of everyday usability and traditional V-8 character.

For enthusiasts seeking more performance, Ram is introducing the 6.4-liter 392 HEMI V-8 to the Ram 1500 platform for the very first time. Producing 470 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated engine gives the Rumble Bee 392 a stronger, more aggressive personality while maintaining the linear power delivery that muscle car fans appreciate.

At the top of the lineup sits the new Rumble Bee SRT. Under its vented hood is the legendary supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat HEMI V-8 generating an incredible 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. It becomes the most powerful V-8 engine ever installed in a production pickup truck.

Faster Than Many Supercars

The numbers are extraordinary.

Ram claims the Rumble Bee SRT can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, complete the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds at 116 mph, and reach a targeted top speed of 170 mph.

That makes it not only the quickest Ram truck ever built but also the fastest and most powerful V-8-powered production pickup in history.

For comparison, the iconic 2006 Ram SRT-10 delivered 500 horsepower and reached 60 mph in approximately 4.9 seconds. The new Rumble Bee SRT improves on nearly every performance metric by a significant margin.

Built for the Track

Unlike previous high-horsepower pickups that focused primarily on straight-line speed, the Rumble Bee SRT has been engineered with circuit driving in mind.

Ram's SRT division has applied lessons learned from motorsports and NASCAR competition to create what it describes as the world's most track-capable production pickup truck.

A shortened wheelbase, wider track, adaptive air suspension, Brembo six-piston brakes, launch control, electronic spool differential and dedicated track mode all contribute to a driving experience that Ram claims feels remarkably untrucklike.

The suspension system features Bilstein Damptronic semi-active dampers, while massive 325-mm-wide rear tires mounted on 22-inch wheels provide immense grip. Remarkably, this is the widest tire and wheel package Ram has ever offered on a production vehicle, surpassed only by the legendary Dodge Viper.

Aggressive Design with Purpose

The Rumble Bee's appearance leaves little doubt about its intentions.

Ram engineers shortened the wheelbase by 13 inches and created an exclusive Quad Cab short-bed configuration. Combined with an 88-inch-wide body and aggressive widebody fenders, the truck possesses proportions unlike any Ram 1500 before it.
